It's warming up...

England's starting to turn it on at last. Been very nice today. Also starting to get very excited about Lucy getting here, a mere 32 days to go. Can't go fast enough though.

She had her going away party last night, by all accounts a very fun evening, with much laughter, merriment and general hilarity. She's got her plane ticket and visa sorted out and will arrive on May 11, after one night stopover in Tokyo. But I'll try to get her to continue the story herself at some stage.

I am a very happy man today. Scored my first ever try yesterday playing rugby for a south London team. Wasn't so happy about the after game pint of Guiness I had to skoll though! Really been enjoying rugby, helped by the fact that it's not as cold as it used to be.

Given that I'm a slacker the next time you'll probably here from me, Lucy'll be here and hopefully we'll have a few interesting stories to tell.
