hey everyone
I thought I better make a contribution to this thing as I can't ignore it's existence forever.
London is pretty cool. I feel like I've been here for ages, though it's only been 2 and a half weeks. I'm enjoying navigating the tube too, which surprised me. It's not so bad, though I do find myself counting down the stops. Now that the weather is warming up (quite nicely too), the tube is becoming a sweltering disgusting sauna type thing. But never mind.

On Saturday we went to Windsor castle. Breathtaking really. So incredibly awesome in size. We spent the rest of the day wandering around the city and taking a cruise down the Thames. We were with our flatmate and her South African friends. A near perfect day really.

I've worked five full days, three as a teacher aide (much to be desired) and two as teacher. They weren't too bad. I have a new found respect for relievers though!

I've booked my ticket home to NZ for Julie's wedding, and hopefully will earn the pound in more of a steady flow soon to pay for it!!!

This week is mid term break for the schools here, so I'll be entertaining myself for a few days. Martin has two kiwi mates staying with us as of yesterday. I may join them for some touristy stuff this week too.

The sun is finally out today, after heavy rain this morning. Think we'll make the most of the nice evening.
