New bikes

We bought ourselves a couple of bikes on the weekend.  Funny old shop down by the Thames, some guy running his shop out of the front room of the house.  He had about half a dozen bikes that were "Recycled" - second hand bikes that had been refurbished.  Anyways, bought the bikes and a couple of locks and we were away.  Went cruising along the Thames to Hampton Court Palace, which was very nice.

Bought a helmet today, so tomorrow I'm planning on biking to work.  Nine miles apparently.  15km or so.  It'll be interesting.  The two mile ride we went on on the weekend had my calves like jelly!  About time I did some exercise though.
