15-17 July weekend
Last Wednesday I finally got myself along to a game of touch with my old rugby team. Turns out I've waited so long that it's no longer touch, it's pre season training. So I was pretty knackered by the end of the evening and a bit sore for a few days following!
Friday Lucy and I went to a jazz cafe when a friend couldn't make our other plans. It was a really nice way to relax at the end of the week. It was just by Covent Garden, but still not particularly packed, in fact we were right next to the singer.
Saturday afternoon Lucy went to a festival nearby and I enoyed a bit of chill out time reading my book. During the evening we went to a friend's birthday - this time it was the right week! Had a lovely time at a bar just down from Picadilly, and danced for a while after we'd finished dinner. Something neither of us have done in far too long.
Sunday after mass we went for a cafe lunch, bought Harry Potter then went to my cousin's husband's 30th birthday thing at a lovely riverside pub.
Saw War of the Worlds in the evening. Rubbish, worst movie ever. Don't touch it with a barge pole.
